Default C6 wheels on C7

I have a spare set of wheels for my C6, will they fit on a C7?

They are the std 18 & 19 in size.

They have Bridgestone all season tires, would they also fit on a Z51 C7?

Base C7 is 18/19, Z51 is 19/20. Base C7 tire size is same in all regards as base C6, just Michelin Pilot Super Sport ZP instead of Goodyear RF. Not sure if wheel offsets are the same though.

If the wheel offsets are the same that would open up some really fantastic wheels. I am getting a Z51 and would love to run ZR1 rims.

We don't yet know what the C7 wheel offsets are.

But the 18/19 wheel set might not fit over the Z51 brakes
.

i have heard of people putting the newer model wheel on the older car, but never the opposite.

Is this thread serious or just another attack at the C7 tire size issue?

It's a serious issue for those that have c6 wheels with winter tires on it and hopeful to use the same for the new c7 during winter months...

I wonder about C7 wheels o na C6 actually. They are like the same bolt pattern so the offset will be the only question.

Serious question.

I guess it boils down to finding out if the offset is the same.

Plus the TPMS would be the next issue. Surely they will not be compatible so at the minimum another set of C7 TPMS would need to be placed in the older tires.

Offset is most likely very close. I assume bolt pattern and center would not change. The question is caliper clearance and wheelwell room. No way to know unless you have a car in front of you.

Would a wheel spacer work if caliber clearance was an issue?
