I remember seeing it on the concept artwork shown in one of the presentations at the bash and thought it looked great. Glad to see it made it to production.

I read the linked thread comments as well and there's no reference to it being a factory or dealer installed option. I went through the entire dealer list when ordering my C7 and no mention of one either. I'm a bit hesitant on vinyl decal type add-ons but that would appear to be what it is rather than a carbon flash painted application. I do like the concept of it, however, as it does tie the black hood vents to something. If not GM, I'm sure the aftermarket will come up with this piece.
