Default Stingray back window...

I just now noticed how small/narrow the back window of this model is. Has anyone driven one yet? I would think rear vision would be highly difficult.

I like your idea of waiting until we drive them and seeing how our vision is.

Someone in another thread who had driven a C7 said the rear vision was restricted, but that the rear view camera was helpful when backing up.

I can tell you in GT5 the video game that when I was driving and switched to looking out the back window that the view is restricted. But like other people said, the backup camera should fix any problems you have. To be honest it was a design compromise.

If you're talking about the square-footage of glass, yes, you're likely correct. The C7 definitely appears to have a larger rear window than a C5 Z06.

However, I think the OP was referring to visibility via the perspective of the rear-view mirror. The C7's hatch seems cavernous and somewhat restricted on each side by the c-pillars.

Here's the only 360-view I could find of the interior.

Granted, the 360 image looks distorted. Hopefully someone can post a better image of the rear-view from the driver's seat.

The rear window seems similar to my CTS coupe, which I thought was going to be an issue. Once I've gotten used to it, however, especially with the blind spot indicators on the mirrors, I find it to be q

quite easy to drive confidently. The backup camera supplements what you can't see looking out the back, so it should be covered. (not sure what happened during my post-I didn't hit send-some sort of power surge or something)
