This was at Virginia International Raceway near Danville, Virginia at the NCM's Corvette event. We were allowed to sit in the night race blue one and one of our party started it. Lots of pictures of just walking around the car. I photographed the Vins, too. 1G1YG2D78E5000042 NIGHT RACE BLUE - NO HEADS-UP DISPLAY, NO DUAL MODE EXHAUST 1G1YL2D7XE5000085 - CYBER GRAY 1G1YL2D76E5000018 - TORCH RED

Reason: Additional information
Enjoyed seeing three C7's at VIR. The Night Race Blue one was on the track for parade laps.
It amazes me how this car looks so different depending on the viewed angle. I really like the pointed nose; it accentuates it shark-like characteristics (even though it is suppose to be a stingray)
I sat in the NRB C7 yesterday also. The cockpit seems so much more tighter/narrow than the C6, but it feels right! The NPP exhaust looked much better on the other 2 C7's also. The black stripes looked really good too. The other thing I was worried about with the rear-end design is with all of the vents/louvers back there, it's gonna be hell to keep clean. After the parade laps, I checked the car out and there was lots of dust on the rear. The Torch Red looked really good in my opinion. This car looks good in any color I've seen so far... Can't wait to see the Z06/ZR1 model, or whatever it will be called! I'm holding out for one of those!!
I was behind the CG one leaving VIR on Hwy 58 today. I shot some video of it. Car looks nice and all the guys working on the highway were cranking their heads to get a look at it.
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
