Default Options questions

Does the Z51 come with a performance exhaust or is it still necessary to order the NPP option to get that aggressive exhaust note?

What does the battery protection do?

Dual Mode Exhaust is extra.
Battery Protection is not needed (IMO).

Enjoy!!!

battery protection has a plug for your cigarette lighter so when you are storing your car or is in the garage it tenders the battery with a trickle charge. I ordered my z51 without the NPP as I prefer aftermarket.

You can get a "battery protection" device at Harbor Freight for $5(with coupon). Does the exact same thing and is called a float charger by most companies(not a trickle charger). Maintains the battery charge and has an automatic shutoff. You can leave it connected for 24/7/52 without worry. I do on my two Old Vettes.

I have four of the $5 Harbor freight units(on my Z06, 56 and 64 Vettes and my mower. They work. Period. No need to pay the Corvette tax.
