Yes. The driver's and passenger's door panels are not identical. The panels are designed to flow with the interior of the car. And the interior is not asymmetrical.

yes, different design pattern (makes it less boring) and been that way since the early 90s and maybe before.

Asked in a previous thread about this : Anyone know what interior code this is?
It's not part of the 3LT options I've looked over.
Perhaps I missed something.

Bottom Line: symmetry is not the design theme for this car, and from a Feng Shui perspective it's conflicted.
It lacks the artistry and discretion in the placement of objects to achieve harmony and foster the appropriate synergies.

They didn't worry about Feng Shui on the interior because they put Fangs Way on the exterior front. Just here to help...

The 90's Mazda rx7 was the same way. Driver's side didn't have a handle and the panel was always having issues with broken pieces.

1990-1996's door panels were very different also. My white '91 had this same interior, and I loved it.

Thanks for enlightening me to the obvious. Can't be believe I missed that. I really like both door panels, and look forward to seeing the car in person.
