Pretty darn good things they are saying... It's in the newest maxim with Alyssa Milano on the cover.
Can't link it because I can't find it online but basically says girls love a man in a vette more than any other car in the USA. Not a bad compliment. Now I turn things over to the haters and bashers about Ferrari, Porsche, etc. but that's what maxim says and hell I love the compliment especially since I too am in love with corvettes.
If you need help, then maybe a splash of 'Vette is just cologne ya need . I'm buying the car because I've owned nearly a hundred cars in my life and never a Corvette. This one is creating a passion inside me to own a 7th generation from the 1st production year. I will appreciate it's speed and handling in that it 'can' do it, not because I will a lot. After I've driven it a bit she'll spend most of her time in the garage waiting for the next nice weather weekend or a club meet or some such occasion.
Don't think I need one to help find a goddess, I'd rather have a 'woman' interested in ME than the car. Just sayin ....

Kind of funny. I've owned some cool cars, but none of them attracted girls like my 02 Z06. It was ridiculous. I almost couldn't go anywhere without girls complementing the car.

I'm 33 good looking guy, I don't need it either for girls. Got a smoking hot wife. I'm sorry you took this that way. It was simply stating that the vette is getting rave reviews. Now simmer down
Are you a man?? Just curious?? Doesn't seem like you caught the drift..
Well I'll be 70 in Jan and twice retired, have set aside the money for the car, and don't feel the need to brag or complain about my looks (I would like more hair tho). I guess age or experience or both gives me a step up the ladder on maturity too.
Your original post just seemed like you aspire to own a 'Vette to attract girls. It might do that, but do you want girls that can't look past that ???
If I misunderstood you, then I apologize.
I wouldn't speak of my wife as "smoking hot" but I guess that's my generation. I speak of her as someone that loves me as much as I do her. The sad part is she has advanced Alzheimer's disease and is in a nursing home now. That doesn't reduce my love or the way I adore her one little bit though. I'd give it all up tomorrow for one more month with her without the disease.

What about only one more day with her, would you still give it all up?
Just kidding man. That was a really touching post. Seriously. All the best

I imagine that in her healthier days your wife knew that you would be around when she needed you. It's hard to find true love and devotion these days but you are a great example of both. The best to you both.
Dad is also in the Ga War Veterans Home one floor below Jane. Day before yesterday he acquired Hospice. He's in a coma now with Days to go then we'll have one less WWII living Vet. He's 93 and met his goal of outliving all of his 5 siblings. Dad retired from the AF and Jane was an AF Nurse. I retired from the Navy.
Jane is my 2nd wife and she was full of fun. Shortly after we were married I got her a new '87 Acura Legend and as we headed to the mountains she got it to 115 and held it for 3 or 4 miles. Should have seen the smile on her face .
