Having put twenty into the Military I'm used to acronyms but some of us (me included) are new here. I keep hearing some I can figure out and some not so easy such as "CAGS".

Can you veteran 'Vetters post some of the common acronyms and meanings please so us newbies don't embarrass ourselves 'too bad' ???

Computer Aided (Assisted) Gear Selection - The annoyance that forces the 1 to 4 upshift if the parameters are right. It came out in 1989 when the 6 speed manual first became available.
