Default C7 next to C5

There is a GM plant employee in town. He's on vacation before going on a Corvette meet.

I snapped a few pictures of his C7 next to my C5. It was interesting to me how close the profile of the cars are with a 20 year difference in models.

Great pics. I can't believe how radical the C7 looks compared to the C5. The C7 is stunning!

So true, and the C5 looks smoother lower and much cleaner. The C7 looks high and looks like it has a retainer in its mouth not to mention the rear end made me giggle its so over done it looks like a clown next the the C5.

The C7 without Z51 spoiler looks more exotic in my opinion. Looks good with or without it, but looks more "euro" or "italian" without the spoiler IMO.

That's because the c7 isn't even a teenager and the C5 is an old man...in car years, of course

The C5 is lower/meaner looking. the C7 looks more like the C6 than the C5.

Have you ordered your Prius yet bettermost? I have a Torch Red C5. I will unload it when my C7 that I have on order arrives. I love the C5. But I'm also loving the looks of the C7. Let's compare your 94 Corolla to that Prius you're in love with.

The C7 looks better WITH the rear spoiler.

Not a fan of the base wheels...

Car looks good, but really needs the Z51 wheels and spoiler...

I have always driven a Corvette all my life. I keep my cars about 3 years then buy a new one. I'm hoping by 2016 they may tone some of the styling down, if not I'm going to be buying that "look at me" Clown in 2016 and most likely in black because it looks less stupid in dark colors. Right now I'm thinking a double black vert with a red interior and black wheels might hide some of the Hot Wheels styling. There are many aspects of the car I do like, but never have I hated a Corvette body design more than I do the C7. To me its a Clown on 4 wheels but once inside it is a Corvette and I wont have to look at it from inside.

Very cool pictures. Love the C5 owned a few of them, but it looks bland next to the new car. The C6 never did if for me other than the widebodys, but this C7 is awesome.

....and like its from the 80's compared to the C7. The rearend of the C5 is terrible. Bloated, soft, and oval.
