Ordering blues
Hello, all. I am new to the Corvette after three CTS Vs.
I have placed a deposit on a C7. Don't have an order number yet, and don't know when I will. I remember when I ordered my 2011 CTS V Coupe. It had just been launched. I ordered on 6/4/10 and picked up the car 8/20/10. In between was all kinds of speculation, complaints, and general anxiety among me and all of my V friends. About three weeks before I got my car another dealer called me to tell me that he had ordered the exact same car. But he was 4 weeks behind my first car, and his deal was $3000 worse.
I put all of my Vs away for the winter, and will do the same for my C7. I am figuring that it won't arrive with much time left before the snow flies here in central NY, but if it does so much the better. If not, I can visit it in storage and look forward to the spring.
Be strong, fellow orderers. It's coming. It is an awesome car.

Considering cancelling my 2014 order and just waiting for the 2015 since no one seems to know when I will be getting my order or when they will even start building the car.. Im currently at 3000 status but have been there what seems forever..

I'm basicly the same way except convert. I know it will be a while before my order can be placed but my dealer wanted to be ready to put it in as soon as he could for my price protection. Cyber grey with red interior seems to be a popular ordering combo. My c6 was Monteray red with cashmere int. It was sharp, I think my c7 will be too.

I agree that the wait is not fun, I have never been good with anticipation either, like Christmas morning. Once you have your new C7 in your hands the wait will have been worth it. Stay strong and positive!

I agree that the wait is not fun, I have never been good with anticipation either, like Christmas morning. Once you have your new C7 in your hands the wait will have been worth it. Stay strong and positive!
