It is a specific site - for Corvette enthusiasts. An Enthusiast would only post in sections of an enthusiast forum that they are enthusiastic about. An enthusiast would try to further others enthusiasm as well; by placing entire series negativity in the sections where it would be well received. If it's whole-series negativity (which I assume the OP is referring to... those with total dislike for the C7), a Corvette Enthusiast would not post that in that particulars models section of the forum.
I imagine some are now saying... "I guess I'm not a Corvette enthusiast then".
OK; but why then are you the f**k here...
solely to troll ???
I ask the moderation staff on this site to operate along the lines of CF being an "enthusiast" forum.
-----------------------------------------
in addition; I am not talking about specific "complaints". I've owned 7 Corvettes, and there's been things I dislike about every one of them. The whole crux of this thread (if I'm reading everyone correctly) is the whole-car-dislike posts do not belong in this section of the forum.

Wait a minute. I have seen some posts with mild negative comments about the C7 and "some" here jump all over the post and call the guy a troll. How fair is that ? In reality most of the posts in this forum can be considered as trolls by "some" people. This is no different than television. If you don't like what's playing change the channel.

It is ok to critique or have a negative comment about the car. That is A-Ok. You can have your opinion on things. Its the certain members on here that seem to continuously 'poke fun' of the C7 in many different threads to where I notice a trend. It can be funny sometimes, but it gets annoying to be reading and scrolling down through a good insightful thread and then there he is, the troll with the arrogant, childish comment I will agree with you that some people will jump the gun by calling someone a troll but the C7 forum in particular has these certain members that are just parasitic.

Simply buy a C7.
The minute a new C7 pulls up beside their old C6. They will shut up.
Trust me on this.
Troll much??
So C7 buyers get upset if anything negative is said about the C7 but yet all they want to do is knock the C6 for being old?? Get over yourself. It's a F*&^%&g car!
Everybody likes different things. I love the C6 GS and bought my 13 AFTER I saw the C7 reveal.
Doesn't mean that I won't like the next version of it. I just don't like this one.
And it's funny that most people bashing the C6 are currently driving a C6?? And the rest have never even owned a Corvette yet think that they will be worshipped like gods if they get a C7.

Oh please, this stuff is common sense.
When there is a thread asking about how the functional rear vents work, and some idiot posts a reply that they don't like the shape of the lights and that the vents look like mascara, that is the work of a troll, and we all know it.
If that's the kind of crap that you want clogging up the forums, then you really should hang out at Reddit instead of CorvetteForum.

I was very specific is saying "whole car negativity".
I understand Trolls don't bother to read everything, because they don't really give a schit; except to arouse emotions - for pure sport. I would of never though of you to be one.

I hear ya; but...
Network broadcast TV's content is heavily regulated/moderated.

I think the trolls offset the idiot fan boys who do wear gold chains and know less about cars than just about anyone. I drive vettes because they are or easily made into high performing autos. Many of the fanboys drive vettes because they are high performance cars or are perceived to be so. That is why you guys get so pissed when anyone talks about possible shortcomings in the new design...you do not really know what the car can do and never will... if car and driver says it is great you will be happy and if someone else points out something they do not like, it becomes personal to you. I do not care so much what others say because I have experienced what my car can do performance wise.
Reading what other say is true is not the same as finding out for yourself.
