Why is it I get the impression they like the car, but don't love it.

The article, in my opinion, was very favorable to the car. Very little to criticize besides the shifter not being as good as a Porsche, but honestly it seemed they thought it was a great car and a big improvement over the C6's.

Although it may not completely smoke a Grand Sport, all the other features and improvements makes it obvious it is a gigantic leap above the almost 10-year old designed C6. The package as a whole is of significantly more value than the C6, even with the current discounts on the C6's collecting dust on dealers lots.

Maybe dealers should run a Groupon on the C6's no one wants?

But for a car that has been waited for all these years, there's not a lot of passion here. You would think they're talking about the new Impala.

They like the car for sure... but I don't see a lot of jumping up and down.

I think there a lot of really good cars out there these days, and when you work for one of the big magazines it probably takes a lot to impress you.

I've gotten that same feeling. I think that once the comparison tests come out we'll get the other half of the story.

I see your point, but lets not forget that the post itself was written by a guy who we do not know personally, or know his personality.

Some people can win $200M in the lottery and not even so much as act excited. Picture a guy like Ben Stein.. personalities like that you just cannot expect huge excitement or reactions.. I had the feeling reading this review the guy probably talks monotone and probably has a dull personality like Ben Stein.

Then again, who really knows- I am just excited everything I wanted it to be has been confirmed as far as being much more improved over the C6. I passed on buying a C6 for years and waited for this car, I would hate to see it only be a small improvement. These reviews I have been reading have only made the wait harder, and me more anxious. October cant come sooner for me!
