Default Sueded Microfiber - Wrapped Upper Interior

What areas does this option cover? Does it replace what would other wise be leather or a synthetic material?

The C7, unlike the C6, uses cloth rather than plastic on the A pillars, headliner, above the windshield, around the quarter windows, etc. The optional package replaces all that cloth with an Alcantara-like fabric.

Note, though, that the microfiber and the cloth are both black. No optional color choices.

The a pillar in cloth in wifes Cadillac gets dirty as its a light color...its pain to try and clean....

Black color would be best...and alcantara a great move too...

Good to hear corvette moving away from heavier and uglier plastic panels where people can see them..

The Suede Microfiber, is something that DIY can do with some patience. After viewing some clips on YouTube its not a complicated procedure for the A pillars and the other panel wrap on the C7.

Not to mention you get more color choices if you buy the Suede Microfiber yourself.

Having said that I will find the time and practice on my daily driver 08 Accord Coupe which has an all black interior.

here are 2 links for Suede Microfiber

EDIT: the same can be said about fake Carbon Fiber applications. see below clip

OR you can use REAL CF sheets and apply it on the panel parts of your car
