Default Corvette severance payout?

What are your feelings about GM giving cash back, loyalty bonuses, 0% financing or whatever to the people they are torturing by not keeping us informed about the status of our cars. We all know we are at 3000 but I for one would like to see something happen soon. You know it's not good business to keep customers waiting. I would like to see a C7 in someone's garage other than a model or pedal car. I know a lot of people have been waiting for a long time but are at the same spot I'm at now having ordered 3wks ago. Come on GM give us something for our patience!!

Is it the end of the third quarter yet? No, which means it not due yet. Nothing owed.

Here's the deal:
a) close and take possession in the next 6 to 24 weeks at MSRP +/- on a 2014 and get a big sucker; or
b) close and take possession 18 to 24 months from now at invoice on a 2015 (as a bonus, maybe even a 2016) and get below market financing and a loyalty discount

I will take (b) because my dentist told me so.

Sorry for being such a smart a** but I find it hard to believe you want something special when you went into this thing willing to be in line with no promised dates except 1st deliveries late 3rd quarter (ie late September) and were willing to pay MSRP +/-.

By the way, congrats on your purchase, hope you take delivery soon and that you have many exciting miles with it!

As I've said in other threads. You are correct. We are not at the previously announced roll out dates. We won't be until at least mid September.

Let him have one of the early test mules. LOL.
It isn't even close to be late. Be patient.

Mine is at order placed since 7-3, but mine has options that will slow it down....so I wait.

I'm happy as a clown to have the opportunity and ability to be in a position to own this car as I'm sure you are. GM owes me nothing and I expect nothing in return. I guess my post should have been ask, will there be any incentives available when the car arrives or are you expecting any. Sorry to ruffle your tail feathers tonight. I apologize!!

Some folks need to get a life.,..... there are a lot more important things then a car.

I guess folks want it now....... even if it has bugs just to show it off in their garage.

For the 'I want it now' generation, do like I did. But the one I drive I still have to wait for them to get it right like everyone else .

There needs to be some kind of dunce award for some posts. The OP has my vote for one.

Here's 'MY' I want it now car below .

Didn't ruffle my tail feathers. I was just surprised that the question was being asked. Based on the other replies, I'm not alone.

It's all good - Mikey likes when he gets his tail feathers ruffled once in a while . . it's like sex, without the inconvenience of taking your pants off

This is not to say I expect anything in the way of compensation for "waiting" for my Vette...emphatically, I don't. As far as I'm concerned they are still on schedule.

But here's a query...when we bought our first year Volt, GM sent us a nice gift pack. We got a "coffee table" book about the car and its development and a nice, unique key fob as well as a ball cap. Just a nice way of saying thanks for having enough faith to be an early adopter.

Anyone think the Stingray will bring with it such things? Have any of the previous generations first runs been recognized like this?

Since it's not here yet, I can only say my plans, not what I've already done. RE: Garage Queen, both of my boys hope that will be the story. BUT .....
I'm retired. I've been more places in the world than I've not. I have a lot of photography experience and cameras of almost every type. Chances are good that several times a year 'Rosie' (proposed car name) will carry me and the cameras around the country on a 'Jim's tour of the USA'. While I still feel young enough I hope to do just that and Rosie should be a good 'shot' prop
