Do they make hand controls for the vette? Just because I lost my legs shouldn't mean I can't own a C7".
Great picture by the way!

She actually looks pretty cool with the idea already (as long as she drive it occasionally). Nice post!

Some people are obviously missing the humor captured in the photo. If David REALLY had to get on his knees and beg there wouldn't be photo evidence of it. Sounds like "Mr. and Mrs. David" are having a great life together.
Every choice in life has some negatives and there are certainly times I miss the freedom of being single. I used to love doing some rather risky climbing in the Colorado Rockies but with a wife and daughter that high risk activity was way too selfish-it is a lot different than when my only dependent was a German Shepherd. But for me personally those sorts of drawbacks are greatly outweighed by the benefits of marriage. My daughter was really excited a few years ago when she got to help configure and then pick up my new CTS so you can imagine how big her smile will be when we do the museum delivery of a C7 next year. That is one of the things that makes up for a bit of responsibility.

I guess I am lucky. It was my wife who suggested that I get down to the dealership early that day to get my name first on the list to buy one. She was actually quite excited about it when we watched the reveal together.
In the ensuing months since the order was placed, she has been just as excited as me and can't wait to accompany me to Bowling Green to pick the car up. For the record, we are both 60 years old and have been happily married for 36 years.
