But I saw this on the museum's website this morning. I'm a little baffled by it. Do you take this as I won't get a tour? Maybe I should've thought this thru better. Guess I paid to drive up there to see it on the museum floor and get my hands on training and plaque cuz I'm already a life member so don't need the one year and now I won't get my personal tour? What's with that?
All raffle winners will also enjoy the benefits and excitement of taking delivery of their new Corvette at the Museum as part of the “R8C Museum Delivery” experience. A VIP tour of the Museum and Corvette Assembly Plant (**See note below), one-year individual membership to the Museum, hands-on training/instruction by a NCM delivery team member, program decal and a wall plaque are all part of the Museum Delivery experience that is available exclusively through the Museum. R8C deliveries are viewed world-wide via the Museum’s webcams. (**Please note that the Corvette Assembly Plant is not available for tours at this time. Therefore, Museum delivery will not include the plant tour at the time of delivery.) - See more at: http://www.corvettemuseum.org/raffle....PolaEjdl.dpuf

. There won't be Museum deliveries until Sept 30th and they will include a factory tour. They won't talk to you yet about setting a date though until TPWs are assigned over the next week or so. I tried :-)
From time to time, the assembly plant is simply not open for any kind of public tour for various different reasons including new model changeovers, building of secret mule cars, etc. Must always have that in mind when trying to set an NCM delivery date outside of those closure days and/or periods at the plant.

Selling the red one to get the C7 Lisa??
Lisa, as long as you are built on September 30 or later, you will be good to go for your tour.

My car is in 3800 status and has apparently already been built with the VIN. I talked to Lori yesterday and was informed that she cannot set up appointments for delivery until GM releases the cars for shipment. She said that most likely that will be a huge release of a a lot of cars at one time and may not occur for several more weeks.

Most likely a QC hold to make sure no problems occur during initial production and if so, GM still has the cars in their possession to fix before arrival at dealerships and customers hands.
