Default 3LT quality?

A few years ago I went from my 2007 MB SL550 to a 2009 Ferrari (rides being given for a $15 donation in Cannon Beach Oregon), and the interior of the Ferrari was so much better than the MB. Anyone that has been in the C7 with 3LT interior...how would you compare it to other cars?

haven't been in one, but from watching 'How It's Made---Supercars' you can bet your next paycheck the mass produced domestics are no where near the luxurious leathers and craftsmanship you get in Astons, Jags, etc. Those high quality hides run from 10-15k just for the leather...add in the labor (of love) to create the patterns and stitch it all perfectly....well, you get the idea. However, what we will get on the C7 will be more than satisfactory for 99% of buyers IMHO.

OK, so how do the 2LT and 3LT interiors compare to cars like MB, Lexus, Caddy, etc?

I'm willing to bet it's on par with a new caddy.

I hope the 3LT is better than Caddy.

Caddy is GM's luxury brand.

Whether intentional or not, don't expect it to be "better" than a brand new cts.

Aesthetics can sway opinion on what is "better", but the entire fit and finish quality is going to be very similar.

Ferrari leather is super soft -- and wears like it. It's why very few people use it. It looks gorgeous but doesn't last.

Most people would complain if their daily driver car had leather wear problems in a few weeks or months. I'm sure Chevy's leather is not as "nice" but will last much better.

It's the trade off you have between softness and durability. You can't get both.
