Order status numbers...
Where do you guys find that order status number? I have entered my order number on the GM tracking site but there never is any place to see the status number. I realize my number would be quite low (convertible) but I would like to know. Thanks

You can get that from you dealer. GM'er could potentially provide it, but, my understanding the list is currently full, and he will only post your Status and track it once it reaches the 3000 mark.

The Order Tracking site mapping to Status Codes would be as follows:
Order Placed = 1100
Queued for Production = 3000? not sure about this one
Production Complete = 3800
Shipped/En Route = 4200
At the Dealership = 5000
Order Placed = 1100

When the order is accepted it goes to Queued for production, during this time it progresses through the codes listed till Production Complete.

Don't forget Shipped/En Route has 4B00 as well as 4200 and has multiple meanings. 4200 does not necessarily mean actually on a truck heading toward your dealer. It does mean dispatch nor someone in QC has flashed your VIN, and it can happen several times before the build leaves the factory.
