Just finished posting GMer's latest status report and updated the first post of this string.

Some observations.

It looks like we are pretty stable at 6 cars per day on our list going to 3800, today was 8.

All the codes 3100s went to 3300.. suspect that means nothing, but who knows.

No 3000s have moved to 3100 or 3300 in the six days we have been tracking the totals

For those of us in the 3400 area, so far it appears they are staying in sequence. None of the 10 cars coming into 3400 since August 28 have gone to 3800. That is important because the number of 3400s before that has dropped to 28. Could that mean all of those cars will go to 3800 in the next week?

My original guess of Sept 16 for my car is looking better every day!

Mine moved to 3400 on 8-30 and I was advised Tuesday that my TPW is 9-9-2013.

The latest update is posted... I think I will post it here and on GMer's update site today, but then just post it on GMer's and let this string die.

It is getting exciting :-)

Guys,

I've been sitting at 3300 for a few weeks now. Wondering what amount of time folks have observed between 3300 and 3400.

Please advise.

I've been posting on GMers thread, but I see there is still activity here so I will repost the last one here

GMer... Thanks again from all of us...

Lots of activity and while some the codes seem strange, the basic info is great.

Here is a recap of the movement first eight days tracking
Code.............3000....3100....3300... .3400....3800*...... other
August 29..........85.......56.......36........ 47.......17..............2
August 30..........85.......56.......33........ 44.......20..............2
August 31..........85.......56.......27........ 51.......20..............1
Sept 4...............85.......56.......27.... ....46.......25..............1
Sept 5...............86.........0.......83... .....38.......33..............0
Sept 6...............86.........0.......79... .....36.......39..............0
Sept 7...............86.........0.......79... .....30.......45..............0
Sept 10.............41.......45.......74..... ...30.......50..............0

*includes all 4000 and up codes

Code 3400 split....< August 29.... August 29 and later
August 29.........................43........... ............4
August 30.........................40........... ............4
August 31.........................41........... ..........10
Sept 4..............................36....... ...............10
Sept 5..............................28....... ...............10
Sept 6..............................22....... ...............14
Sept 7..............................16....... ...............14
Sept 10..............................3....... ...............27

One of the three is mine with a VIN of 648 which probably means it was built this morning. Another belongs to sccaracer46 with a VIN of 767 which probably says Thursday. Five 3100's jumped straight to finished today, so the FIFO isn't a given for 3400s, but it is close.

Highest VIN
August 23......22
August 24......40
August 29.....177
August 30.....240
Sept 4..........368
Sept 5..........432
Sept 6..........501
Sept 7..........573
Sept 10........633

For computer geeks like me, here is the worksheet I’m building with some dates. Note there is some data there in red, it is from your input rather than GMers. The stats above just represent GMer's data.

Wonder why so many of us are stuck at 3300. With all the movement of the 3000's to 3100 one would think we 3300's would move to 3400's. Seems strange from this point. Then the one guy who went 3100 straight to 3800. Thanks for doing this helps in me in studying the process of progression

Actually five 3100's came off the line yesterday... four of them went straight to the 4xxx status... big surprise.

My wild *** guess: the 3300 and 3400 cars have been assigned a specific slot/date within the production schedule whereas the 3100 orders are "loose orders" used to fill in the gaps between the scheduled slots as the line ramps up in production speed.

much like how some walk-in or urgent care patients are slotted between patients with appointments

Normal.

Recently a typical time between 3400 and 3800 was 2 weeks. My QZNQG0 hit 3400 Friday 8/23 and was finished Friday 9/6, didn't show 3800 until the next day, Saturday 9/7.

As production speed increases those times may shrink.

Expect to see 3800 very very soon.

Ordered July 10th.
3000 Late July
3300 8/29
3400 9/11
Hopefully in another 2 weeks it will be produced.

I've been posting on GMers thread, but I see there is still activity here so I will repost the last one here

GMer... Thanks again from all of us...

Lots of activity the last two days... I missed posting yesterday cuz while my machine was coming off the line I lost about 1/3 of my colon... recovering just fine and should be out of the hospital just about VIN #648 arrives in Madison. I may need a chauffer for awhile... any volunteers?

Here is a recap of the movement first ten days tracking
Code.............3000....3100....3300... .3400....3800*...... other
August 29..........85.......56.......36........ 47.......17..............2
August 30..........85.......56.......33........ 44.......20..............2
August 31..........85.......56.......27........ 51.......20..............1
Sept 4...............85.......56.......27.... ....46.......25..............1
Sept 5...............86........0.......83.... ....38.......33..............0
Sept 6...............86........0.......79.... ....36.......39..............0
Sept 7...............86........0.......79.... ....30.......45..............0
Sept 10.............41.......45.......74..... ...30.......50..............0
Sept 11.............41.........0.....102..... ...43.......54..............0
Sept 12.............41.........0.......91.... ....46.......62..............0
*includes all 4000 and up codes

We still are clearing about six cars a day from GMer's 240 order sample.

Highest VIN
August 23......22
August 24......40
August 29.....177
August 30.....240
Sept 4..........368
Sept 5..........432
Sept 6..........501
Sept 7..........573
Sept 10........633
Sept 11........698
Sept 12........780

So, it looks like the line is producing about 70 machines a day.

For computer geeks like me, here is the worksheet I’m building with some dates. Note there is some data there in red, it is from your input rather than GMers. The stats above just represent GMer's data.

This data was good. Your a good man for all the hard work also. Thanks

My reading thorough it tells me lots of car orders are prepped for production with the bump up of the 3000 to 3300 group. Hardest thing is knowing Im a 3300 with no TPW. GM and dealer so no info available. I can only hope that I just slide right into 3800 and am not stuck at 3300 because of the CF roof. And by what I hear others have the same experience with being in the 3300 dark hole.

Thanks again for doing this it was a big help
