Invite to STINGRAY PRECISION TEST DRIVE

.Jim,
I signed up for Sunday, September 29th at 12:30 PM, the day after I get back from Denver. It's at the Monticello Motor Club in New York. A real track. I have no idea why I received the invite. It's not like I've been to a Chevy dealer or expressed an interest before. But I'll take it. Wonder if I can use the GoPro during the drive.
Get the list of questions together. They don't say which models will be there. I assume both the manual and automatic versions. We'll see. And you get to keep yours so don't feel bad.

THE CAMERA NEVER LIES
We want you to be able to relive this very special driving experience. That's why we mounted two cameras in the cockpit of the completely redesigned Corvette Stingray. Within a week after the Stingray Precision Drive, we will send you an email with a link to video showing your drive as it happened. You'll see a video of the action from your perspective and telemetry will be embedded into the video to show your performance.
Share this exciting keepsake with family and friends on Facebook™ and other social media sites.
That's how the corvette team lured me into to buy my first corvette back in july of 1998.
Till then I never thought of buying a corvette.
After the test drive on an autox course for the day I was hooked...
Those bastards got me hooked and now they won't set me up with a fix without paying!
I'm kidding of course...its a smart way to entice owners of competitive products..
Warn your friend....that a day on the track with a corvette will lead to an expensive addiction..
I may just head up to watch even without an invitation..
I'm really disappointed I did not get an invitation!
I am trying to get information and will pass it on if I get it.
I was told by GM website that all spots were filled

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Of course, it might end up costing me $70k.
Retention is harder than lead generation.
But for GM retention is hard because most have a horror story to tell about GM personally.
So they should be working just that much harder to get perspectives into a positive consensus.
So you go to your base first then optimize your search.
Lets just face it GM fails pathetically in their marketing.
Example: take a look at the Jaguar F-Type ad campaign and their lead generation. They are doing all they can to get anyone with an interest into one an driving it.
You have test drive events along with product introductions to other models across key market segments and SMSAs [ i.e. Statistical Metro Mkt Areas] .
Interaction wit the car, with other like minded car enthusiasts, with tech & motor heads , engagement, active marketing & vital liveliness, impressions, imaging and branding; viral marketing at it's best.
GM, lets see a few pre production cars at particular car shows - doors locked look but don't touch. O'hh a power points slide about the engineering and new design .
This stuff just ****'s me off to no end about GM.
Especially if the above OP statements are true.
