I'd say "black sucks" but some nitwit would call me a racist....but remember, blacks wheels were popular in the late 70's and early 80's and now they're a fad again. If you like them good for you. But, remember if someone doesn't agree with you that's no reason to be nasty. It just proves you are very insecure. I for one could care less what you like...but I know what I like.

I like chrome wheels, I like black wheels, & I like gray wheels. Never understood the need to bash what someone else has as if its somehow inferior. Personally, I like chrome wheels better, but that's me.
The only thing that's "played out", in my opinion, is saying that something is "played out"

I found this fun 3D rendering online: http://3docean.net/item/chevrolet-co...e-2014/5235611
Click on the "3D Preview" button and you can twirl a 3D model around its axis. "More Images" gives you some various angles and closeups.
The 3D preview has watermarks because they are selling the real image for use on websites and presentations.
I mention it in this thread because they used Arctic White with the standard wheels and the black CF roof. They also tinted the windows, which helps with the bada$$ high-contrast look.
That render is exceptionally close to my order!

And why would Corvette engineers want to go to Bend Oregon the bulls eye for composite construction?

Is this the C7 I saw pulled over by the Oregon Trooper on I5 on the Tuesday (Aug 20th) following Pebble Beach Concours? I was driving my MY '04 Z06 with the Wife coming home from the Historics and coming round a bend just past Cottage Grove IIRC...saw a White C7 pulled over. If it hadn't been a bend I would have gotten a picture.

So fat chance they'd body color the entire rear in lets say 2015/16 model year.
Then again there is always this image that seems to pop up as the benchmark for rear end correctness with the C7. Could possibly work with other colors - ya'know percentage gray thing.

In fact, I'd even get the Z51 option. The spoiler looks good in this picture. I may have to do that and have the lower valance painted body color.

Followed by carbon fiber replacements from the aftermarket industry.
The white does look good all in one color.
