Nice write-up. I am not so sure GM will be thrilled that the guy is 65 years old and well past the demographic they are trying to reach.

As someone who has actually driven one, he certainly seems quite happy enough with the C7 automatic transmission.

Yes BlueOx I think the expectations of a 65 year old man are just a bit different than a 30 year old. The C7 could have had a 2 speed and I am sure the review would have been just as good.

I am sure they would have but they have a bunch of 6L80's they want to get rid of first.

The A6 in my '12 GS is pretty fun to drive (paddle) and has some pretty decent performance in comparison to the A6 in our '06 Z51 coupe. From what I've read the A6 in the C7 continues in that direction, so for anyone who hasn't tried one of the late model A6's you really don't know what you're missing and why these reports are favorable.

Another great review. I'm looking forward to my A6 Vert!

Appears the author liked the upgraded interior and stiff structure.

Yea, having one on order myself it's reassuring to see articles like that. I originally ordered the M7 but I just have to many issues now with my lower back and sciatic nerve in the left leg. I was able to change the order in time. I want to drive her, not own a $70K garage queen .

What's interesting about these reviews is that New Stingray is tauted as BOTH a great sports car which will match about anything you can buy on Track Day, but also at terrific GT that you can comfortably drive cross-country and everyday. A lot of manufacturers have tried to build such a car, but very, very few have ever succeeeded.

Tadge J. and his talented team are to be congratulated for pulling it off. If these reviews are to be believed, the C7 is a new classic that will win a lot of new buyers over. It's nice to see that America is STILL capable of building such a product.
