Default Would you get a C6 if....

I was wondering...out loud with the incoming C7, will there a ton of unsold C6's on dealer lots. If so it would be nice if deep discounts were offered.
I have never owned a brand new vehicle a day in my life, closest thing being an '08 Hayabusa I bought used in October 2008. With that said if dealers were to sell awesome models like the Grand Sport or even the base model for the low 30's, I would get a C6. Thoughts on this?

Have you even really looked or are you just trolling? There's fire sales everywhere on GS 2013's.

Yes. I bought my '13 Grand Sport in May after not being totally enamoured with the C7. Check out the deals some of the forum vendors are offering. The C7 looks to be a great numbers car, but I like big butts, and I cannot lie.

A C6 at deeply discounted prices would be tempting but why not wait until you see/drive a C7 before making that decision?

It is a GREAT, GREAT car and if saving those $$$ is a factor to you the C6 certainly delivers plenty of Corvette thrills.

C7 is the first 'vette I've had eyes for since the C3 - I'll pass on the C6.

Brand new C6 for low 30's?

not gonna happen. Even with a GM employee discount youd be around 40 for a 1LT

Nope!

The C6 is not appealing to me, if it was I would have already have bought one.

I live in a city of about 1,000,000 people with 4 large Chevy dealers, the cheapest C6 that any of them have is a 3lt listing for $64+ and it is discounted to $51+. Don't see $30,000"s happening, anywhere. That, plus they are getting hard to find, you'd have to do some searching to find one with the equipment that you want.

See, I don't get that. Though it may be a discount from its original cost, how does 51K for the old model make someone looking at the new one convince them to get the GS over the c7 at nearly the same price.

I wouldn't consider a base model in the 20's or a GS in the 30's or a Z06 in the 40's.
So...no.
