Just ordered a Stingray
I am just placed an order for a Stingray. This will be my first sports car and I am really excited.
When do you think I should receive it by?????
The dealer couldn't give an exact date but said possibly by the end of the year or very early 2014. Does this sound right?
Thanks

Congrats on the new Stingray.
Timing will depend on your dealer's allocations and where you are on his/her list relative to those allocations.

Congratulations on ordering the new ride.
Unfortunately it is too early tell how deliveries will go.
Regardless, it will be worth the wait.

Congrats Al. I think it depends on if you made inside their allotment for allocation. If not, I'm not sure when the second round comes. If you did, you should get it by December. Keep an eye on it's progess like so many others are here.

I just placed an order also. I have an order # but don't think that means much. I went through the Internet manage. MSRP. He says 8-10 weeks but we will see. Just knowing I have it the system is good. Maybe any glitches will be identified by then.

I am glad I live where it does not snow so if it comes in the winter months I can still enjoy it.

Congrats Al. Since this is your first sports car, what have you been driving? If you've never driven a 'vette, just curious as to how much of an "Oh My God" you are in for.

Well, Stingray Al... I've probably had 20 sports cars... and the C7 still excites me.

Congrats and welcome to the family. We have many types here and you will fit in nicely somewhere. I see you got the auto trans. Either your a drag racer or You just are not into racing at all. I am a track junky. Nice build though almost exactly like mine.

Congrats, the anticipation will make it even more special when it finally arrives. I have a vert on order in a cold climate state and expect it will be months away before it arrives.

For the $1,350 that you paid for the automatic transmission, you could have rented a car with a standard transmission, and taught your wife how to drive it! A 'WIN-WIN' situation for both of you.
