Finally made today's consensus after being at 1100 since 5/13! Now I have to wait until next week to see if GM picks it up.

I read somewhere on the forum that no more convertibles would be picked up this month, anyone heard that?

Confirmed; no convertibles in Sept consensus for Nov. production. Hope will be Oct for Dec production. Unfortunately, appears verts won't hit buyers until at least Jan '14.

Not sure the basis for you estimate, but I don't think it is accurate. If you look at Dave from Kerbeck's thread on his orders, he has around 30 verts that were accepted in one or two of the August Consensus' and those orders are sitting at code 3000. Rick Conti is in a similar situation at Coughlin (numbers are probably a little less), and I am sure that MacMulkin and Hendricks got some vert allocations then as well. My dealer got 3 in August of which mine is one. I am also sitting at 3000. I believe that these cars will hit the line sometime in October and be available in November. Well before next year. GM said that they expected to make the verts available by the 4th quarter and I think they are going to do that. Now, I don't think we will see thousands of verts before the start of the new year, but I do think the ones that are currently in the pipeline will come out this year.

Can't say for sure. I got my info from my dealer with respect to my vert order. If vert's have been built or consensed earlier, then I'll sit corrected. My order was entered Aug 9th; no TPW for me yet. Ugh.... Good for you, however!

Obviously everyone is guessing about the convertible consensus, but my theory is that I would think GM would want more than just a few 2014 Sting Ray convertibles on the street tby the end of the year to generate future sales after the allocations now are filled. The free advertising of the product in use speaks volumes to potential buyers.

Okay, after all that verbiage, I have no clue.
