Yesterday I was making my, oh, perhaps, only 70th visit to the National Corvette Museum web site to look at my car on web cam 6, when some dufus walks up to the rope and reaches over it with a can in his hand and starts waving the can around over my car as he uses the can to point out things to his buddy....

I wonder if he think those ropes are there to keep the car from escaping? I takes all kinds, I guess...

I might add that all of the other visitors behaved in a rational manner, as you might expect

LOL know on understand what you are going on better than me..on Webcam 1. Did you see late last night? People were there until 2 in the morning. Don't have a clue what it was. I wrote Shane about something and he wrote me right back. I think he and Lori were both there on the Entrance camera and a lot of people were in there as well as the cleaning crew. Not sure why they were working so late. It's fun but nerve wracking all the same. I'm sure they will take great care of our cars though. Look at it this way. Tomorow is the last Monday you will be without a Stingray :-) Have a fun trip!!!

You know I hear guys saying one of the first things they are going to do is remove the Stingray. I can't belive how many people go up to the car and take just a picture of the badge. I think removing the Stingray badge is a mistake.

We are stopping by BG on Wed on our road trip to the Smokies. We'll keep an eye on it while we are there checking it out....drooling from a distance.

There are 3 empty spots on the floor on Corvette Blvd. I wonder if they will add 3 more C7's tomorrow. My guess is yes. I bet Tome's is added tomorrow for sure.

Vette is packed for the road trip. Heading to Memphis tomorrow and will head to BG Wed morning. I can't wait to see them in person.
If all goes well we'll be picking up a '15 this time next year in BG.

I may not be able to post the pics immediately to the CF but if you guys want to PM your email I'll send you a Flickr link.

Who owns which car? Just curious.

Thanks so much! I just sent you a PM. I'm the Silver with the transparent roof and chrome wheels, non Z51 on Camera 1. I really appreciate it. Have a great trip! Joy

I <-- have taken an unbelievable amount of pics of the Stingray logo in viewing them in person! LOVE it.

This kind of gives me horrors. I'm so glad I'm waiting for a 2015 and some of the newness and drool factor will have worn off!
