George will speak for himself, but I'd guess the pics are a little "brighter" and a tad more "orange-y" than in real life. Or at least the reds that I've seen.

Congrats to both on their new cars.

The paint on the C7 is excellent no orange peal and very deep. The orange shows more in the bright sun, at night it looks more red. My pics are close to what you see in real life.

Can't imagine how hard it was to wait to take delivery on your new rides. I really like the new design, but I have a feeling that in person it really looks good.
Congrats on the new rides.

I saw a red one yesterday and there is no mistaken it for orange. Now I wasn't crazy for the black rims on a red car. From all the picture I've seen silver or chrome looks way better. Black C7's look good with black rims.

Congrats on the new rides.

I stopped in at my local dealer today and they had just gotten in a black and white one. I liked the C7 in pictures but the car looks even better in person. Nothing wrong with the back end design!

Great color, beautiful ride - congrats and good luck!!!!
Actually, I would expect better. 211 miles east of Kingman, AZ, averaging about 71 MPH (cruising at 75 MPH), just after climbing up past Flagstaff on the way to Albuquerque last Friday, my C6Z Z07 showed 30 MPG on the DIC.

OP must have been getting on it some for his avg MPG to be below 26-27 MPG.

George,

Is the magnetic ride control now in the selctor on the console? In all of the previous models it was a switch on the console.

Yes, as you turn the driving mode selector from touring to sport to track, the exhaust tone increases, awesome sound

Picked up the vehicle this afternoon, and all I can say is what an amazing experience!!! Many thanks to the great people at Les Stanford in Dearborn, Michigan.

On the way home, I had at least three people in other cars take iPhone video and pictures on the highway, and one gentleman in a very nice car of his own, pulled up next to me, rolled down his window, and said "that car is unbelievable...looks awesome".

My only wish...better roads in Southeast Michigan!

Pictures are attached, hope they are helpful for people to see the excellent engineering in this vehicle. Rides like a dream, and really wants to run through the paces. When you get yours on delivery, try to hold back!!!

A few notes (at least that I noticed throughout the day):

The interior (3LT) is amazing and exceeded my expectations, the leather and build smell (new car) never ceases to be one of the best experiences of buying a new car.
The transmission (Manual) is tight and highly responsive, higher grade feel than I expected.
Seats are great, and the ventilation exceeded my expectations as well (fairly warm day here in Michigan).
The red interior looks very classy, I was a bit worried it would be over the top on a 3LT...excellent look, and with the TR exterior, black wheels, and red calipers, very mean looking car (compliments from everyone where ever my wife and I were at today).
The frameless mirror is cool...never seen one like this before.
Infotainment center is better than any car I have ever owned...this is a bit must for tech heads, and I think it will hit the mark.
Not quite sure why anyone would want the original cover (came with the car), unless it is for nostalgia, it does not seem like it would be something to use on a daily (or even storage) basis...I would definitely buy a different cover.
Radio is outstanding...very satisfied with the audio, though the base is set a bit much for me from the factory, but easy to adjust with the system equalizer. Ran through classical, jazz, rock and pop and sounded great for all of them.

Can't wait to hear more stories and see more photos from fellow C7 owners. For all of those waiting for delivery...IT IS WORTH THE WAIT!!!

Cheers!
