You can run the gamut of everything from members screwing a couple of hockey pucks together to purchasing some pucks that BMW markets for their cars.

Then there are the custom aftermarket solutions.

Here's one example of a fabricted part sold by Elite Engineerng:

I agree! Buy some good ones. I have mine from my C5 and will put them to use again. They will last forever!

The 2014 owners manual says not to use any pads larger than 2.5" in diameter. The cheap pads(like I have for my old C5 and now my C6) are made from 3" diameter hockey pucks with eyebolts, so they won't work on a C7(according to Chevrolet).

Time to bust out the grinding wheel and turn those hockey pucks in to mini pucks.

I used the BMW pucks on my C6. Made to last longer than the car will and they fit perfectly.

BMW 3 Series pads on my C5. Not sure of the diameter, but they lock in place perfectly and are left in. I'll see what fits later, when I get around to ordering a C7.
