Default Finally a build date

After eight months of waiting, and one month of painfully watching Stingrays being built and finally being delivered ,I received an email from Lori at the NCM indicated that my "BLURAY" will be built Oct.4th and completed on the 5th.
Looks like I finally get to head to Bowling Green to indulge in the buyers tour and see my car being assembled .
Oct. 4th is my 38th wedding anniversary ,what a fantastic way to spend the day .Even my beautiful wife is excited.
It's going to be a long five days !

Congrats! If you're going to BG to watch it being built won't you have to come back 2 weeks later to pick her up? The Museum told me all car have a 2 week QC hold before they're released.

Thanks Guys
Lori did not give me the Vin # , She said the the rest of the info would be forthcoming in the next few days,so I want to believe that the museum has the vin # in order to schedule the tour .
As far as the pickup date at the Museum ,it is my understanding that the cars are held for QC the same as the ones being shipped out to dealers so I imagine that a two week interval from build to delivery would be expected .Im only a seven hour drive from B.G. so it's a fun escape to bring home my prize .

They are making 130 a day and my vin is 2835 and it's scheduled to hit line at 11:45 am on Oct 1st and come off line on Oct 2nd. Maybe this will help some of you figure your time line out. I will be there watching.

Another Rick Conti (Coughlin) customer here. I'll see you Friday on my Buyer's Tour! I also got the email from Lori yesterday. 3000 from July 17th to September 26 (to 3300 that day). Build dates of 10/4 and 10/5. VIN 3212.

I'd be been stuck at 3000 since June. Friday it shoots up to 3300' hurray!! it's finally moving ,figured it would be another long wait before any movement so I was pleasantly surprised when I received Lori's email Sat.

My car skipped 3800 and is now at 4D00! My VIN is 2413. I really hope is does not go to Nashville (knock on wood) and that it gets bayed and shipped quickly! .

Maybe mine will do that too. I've been at 3400 for 5 days with no TPW or VIN # while other orders placed months after mine have a TPW and VIN..... and as far as I know nothing for my build is on constraint.

Maybe I missed the first color run of LRG. Oh well, so far I'm still within what I expected.

Seems that there are several of us scheduled for this Friday and Saturday. Our VIN is 3137 and we hope the schedule holds.

We plan to come in on Wednesday afternoon so we can tour the Museum again on Thursday and be ready for Friday morning - at 6:00am.....

We've never done the Buyers Tour before and we're really looking forward to the experience. It could be difficult for us to watch someone else build our car as we've built so many of our early cars. I guess they wouldn't appreciate any interference on the assembly line.......

Hope to see you folks there.

Have any of you had additional corespondance with Lori on a actual time to be at the plant. I've seen some with a 10.00 am show up time .
I also have a descripency on the production date emailed to me from her and the dates the Buyers Tour update page shows. Have been trying to contact her or Shane this afternoon with no luck. I'd hate to drive 7 hours only to find out it's not going to happen .

Lori has been great at keeping us informed of any changes. Thus far the only change we have had was that the original time for the start of the tour was 6:30am and it advanced to 6:00am. Hope they serve breakfast..........
