Default Silver is sweet

Saw this baby at Barrett-Jackson today. Finally had a chance to sit in one for several minutes and there's not much to dislike, other than horrible Bose stereo. This is one helluva car.

I had a Silver C6, such an awesome color, plus these wheels look really classy on the C7

Exactly what I ordered. Regular Z51 wheels and no cf on the outside. The black rims to me look like just dark holes on the sides of the car.
My C5 was Sebring Silver and it did not have the depth that the blade does. Really nice.

Fantastic shot! Great lighting, angle, and composition.

That car is gorgeous, and I am not usually a silver person. Every color gives the car a different look, and they all look great. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

Did you get the chance to adjust the Bose much? Some here who have had that opportunity say the sound is actually good, including a guy yesterday that has put quality aftermarket units in his cars before.

So many silver cars out there, but none of 'em look like that!

A few more shots. Red doesn't show the lines as well. I had three silver C6's and now I have a Monterey Red convertible, which is my favorite Corvette color. My plan was to keep my C6 vert and get a C7 coupe but after seeing this car in person, I can only imagine just how stunning the convertible will be. I don't need two convertibles so I'm not sure what I'm going to do now.

I couldn't agree more. Silver Z51 wheels and body color spoiler really enhance the C7. The black Z51 spoiler and black wheels do the opposite.

Yes it does! And these photos are crap compared to what it looks like in person. There was a red one, a blue one, a white one, and a yellow one, and they didn't grab your attention at all like the silver. It just looked more rich.....like a jewel......like it cost twice as much.

I'm at 3300, waiting for a TPW, which makes the wait even more difficult now

Yes I did. It sounds very much like the C6.....better, but not by much. It seemed very muddy to me and I did play with the bass, mids, and treble. It was an FM signal to be fair, but I doubt anything else will magically transform it into something wonderful. Certainly not a deal breaker, though. The car is to die for. Unfortunately, Bose still blows.

The guy from yesterday said he hooked up his device (I forget what) that held 2500 songs for the test he did. Maybe that was significant? I wish I could remember the thread.
