My original order was a 3LT Black z51, but I got tired of waiting had an oppertunity to buy this 2LT Black non z51 car last week, so I jumped on it! Already lowered it, tinted the windows, blacked out the chrome front grill, and tuned it. Black OEM z51 wheels are also on order!
Can we see some pics from the front assuming you still have the chrome wheels?

I agree I need to blackout the grill.
I went to my detailer today to get paint decontamination and coated with Reload. My car was coated with Cquartz Finest about 5 months ago.
Looks amazing. Thanks to Windows and Wheels detailing. Highly recommended if you are in the Phoenix area.
Your car looks amazing!! I should have my black one arriving in a couple of weeks and I want it to look at good as yours. I'm not exactly sure what you mean when you say,"paint decontamination and coated with Reload. My car was coated with Cquartz Finest". sorry but can you elaborate? I'm assuming reload and Cquartzs are some sort of polishes/finishes and what's decontamination?

Thanks!!
just google them - carpro reload & Cquartz Finest
read for days
make google your friend...and you tube too!
bottom line: it's a $1000 bill or so at a good detailer....but well worth it....
This car is just "begging" to have that silver bar covered up with a black carbon flash piece in the front grille. Call Jeff Nowicki auto sports and put a smile on your cars face.

Hi, I'm Denny Granquist (lizizvette), we ordered a Black 2 Lt z51 coupe in Dec13. Should be delivered middle of May. Would like to exchange contact info. We live in Peoria. dennyliz@***.net, my cell, 602-312-5681. Your car really looks good. Would love to have ours look as good!
The stock grille was the one thing from day one I knew was going as soon as something better was available.
Yes it's the OEM Z06 grille.
eBay seller grilles950, he had 2 and will be trying to get more. $300 free shipping.
One last question, I know there are brake cooling ducts in the lower corners but does the Z06 grill openings line up well with the existing duct work? Any chance you can post some close ups of the inside of the ducts?

Thanks again!
My Stingray is a non-Z51 so there are no cooling ducts. I will be added ducts in the future.
Without a doubt, of all the colors that are properly prepped, polished, waxed, black is the deepest and richest looking of all. It's a color that takes a lot of work to keep it looking clean, but when it is done well, nothing else compares.

once again, if you move to the latest technology avail today, black is pretty easily to keep nice with silica or hi-polymer coatings like Cquartz, Opti coat, 22PLE, etc - educate yourself....it ain't cheap but it works....this is not "wax".....it's semi permanent...
