2021 C2 of the Year Finalist - Modified
I went and looked at a very low mileage 2015 Black Corvette. I know black shows everything. But i found a few imperfections in the paint that looked like slight orange peel or maybe dirt In the paint. How particular was final inspection at the plant? Or was this possible touched up?

the paint on vettes and hell most cars in general have significant orange peel. as it turns out, painting a car is still hard to do. the only decent solution is going a little heavy on the clearcoat then the usual wetsand+polish etcetc, same as people have done for years and years.
