I wonder if GM'er would know? This is crazy to advertize the seats but not make any available when you start building the car. I have seen several promo pics on the C7 with the Competition Seats. I have my order RHGBD1 for quite some time now. I hear the Comp Seats are off constraint then back on. If there is an issue with the Comp Seats then tell us GM then I can change my order and replace the seats later. or maybe get the GT seats and a IOU from GM would work also.

GM has said since the beginning there is a constraint on the seats. They will be available next year along with the camera up front. The comp seats in the prototypes were not the final version. As far as appearance goes, I'd assume they will look almost identical. Its the guts of them, they may be working on. There isn't THAT much to a seat. haha. Relax, they will come. If you don't want to wait til next year, inquire with your dealer if you can change your order.

They announced from the beginning that these would be late availability (at least fourth quarter.) Competition seats have never been off constraint that I'm aware of, they just haven't been released yet.

Just in case you want to reconsider
Just stepped out of my C6 into a C7 at the dealer with the non-competition seats (obviously). Whoa, what a difference! I cannot imagine wanting more seat than this unless it was a dedicated race car. The seats are much firmer, noticeably more supportive on the sides and much higher. Just sayin'.

Competition seats
My order was broadcast for production on 11/19. Convertible Z51 3LT NPP MSR Chrome wheels and with competition seats. Usually approximately 8 days to 3800 (built). Will let you when I get the word it is built and ready for delivery.
