Excellent. That's what I was thinking of going with. Next will be to find recommendations on installers north of Atlanta....(actually next is to get my car built :-)

Your car isn't even being built and your worried about the patterns being out??? LOL. First step is get the car ordered, then worry about the patterns. Everyone will have them by the time you get your car.
I'm assuming you put on Xpel. I take delivery of my CG this morning. Do you have any pricing estimates for each coverage option?
Thanks!
Prices are going to be all over the place. Too many factors to consider... coverage, location, film used, installer... to get a set price. But from what I have seen the cost should be the same as what C6s are going for. Pretty much the same amount of material used and the install looks much easier. So you might start price comparing what the C6 owners have paid.
I checked the Xpel web-site but didn't find an answer to my question. Do you use it before or after Zaino? I understand what it does but I don't understand where it fits in the polishing picture.
you're gonna hate this, but zaino is last generation..look at Sonax, blackfire, pinnicle or wolfgang polymers for up to date better stuff....
Xpel will prepare the surface before they put it on, you seal like normal over it..don't expect perfect gloss like the paint, but it's pretty good...why don't you call them?
I just got quoted for $1,200 for the whole front end (bumper, head lights, and fenders). Is that excessive? I saw that someone said $700 and also said it was the front, but what do you mean by front? Thanks in advance... I am still debating if I should do the whole front or just the bumper.
I said it...they usually try and sell you all the way back to the door and total hood. That's huge money - $700 is just the bumper, slant of the hood and around to the wheel = where the bugs hit you.. Classic Touch - Ft Lauderdale..

Thanks Glen!
I used to drive a 2005 M3 (not as low as the vette and I did get a couple of chips on the fender above the wheel and the hood. That is the reason why I considered it. Decisions decisions! hahaha
We'll see how it goes... Thanks! Can't wait to go down to Florida during the holidays. I am dying to move back
Currently trying to figure out if something like CQuartz finest is an alternative to a clear film or if I'd still need to put a bra on the front - anyone have any experience here?

cquartz finest won't stop a rock being spun off a truck tire...
A friend of mine owns a very high end auto salon and he's the only authorized dealer of CQuartz Finest in Louisiana and you do still need a clear bra, it's not the same. I'm not 100% but the CQuartz protects your paint from dirt, bugs, and stuff like that but not a rock chip. Need the bra for that. I know he does recommend getting the bra all the way up the hood and fenders incase you're following a truck that throws a rock up high and hits the top of your hood. Going half way up also let's you see where the film stops, not sure if you all would mind that or not.
I decided to use the new Suntek product. I did the entire bumper and hood, headlights, partial front fenders, mirrors, door edges and kick plates. The installer warranted it for life and I paid $1100.
Thanks for the info, I'll be getting a clear bra for the car. I saw a comment above about how it won't be a perfect gloss like the paint so does anyone have any input on how to know which is going to alter the appearance of the car the least Xpel or Suntek? I don't want to mess with the look of the Laguna Blue TC.

I have it on a CG car and you can not tell the difference. I used the Suntek product.
