Hmm, yeah that's strange. I'm guessing it's a mistake, or some kind of bait and switch scheme perhaps. They have to know they can sell them for more than that.
I was just looking thru cars.com and Classic Chevy Houston have 5 out 10 of their c7 corvettes discounted 4000 to 5800. What's the catch.
Wow....I looked at some others on Cars.com and you had to be both a USAA member and have gotten the $1,000 discount offer for the price advertised...those are a couple of catches I've seen...
Their website is calculating ALL rebates, even ones that the car doesn't qualify for. My dealers website shows savings of some $2000. USAA and some other rebate which we all know don't work on the Stingray.
Some Internet managers are gonna get their asses handed to them by management. They have a default discount configured in the system and they either didn't flag to car as "call for price" or not eligible for discount. I'm pretty sure if you got a sales person on the phone they would tell you right away either the car was sold or the price is a mistake. If I'm wrong then some people are going to get a great deal.
I just called Red River Chevy in Bossier City and the sales person said they were all preordered customer cars, and that was also a computer error, all their 14's are at sticker... They had only one blue one coming in that was not sold yet...
