Just took delivery of Premium Edition #53 while driving, noticed that the gauge lights seemed quite low. YES, I know there is a small round **** to the left to control the brightness and YES it is up all the way. I am wondering if there is another adjustment somewhere within the settings in the infotainment system that might help. Thanks in advance to the men and women who know more (at this point) than the dealers or salespeople.
I noticed the same issue, very dim at dusk, too dark for me even with the brightness **** turned all the way up. Then I took it out for a spin last evening, and it looked fine????

I know that on my Infinity there is an adjust for brightness of the screen. there is also an "auto" brightness that senses the car lights on and dims the screen. In that case I can adjust both the dim and bright level brightness separately and it is remembered so that when the car's lights come on the screen still dims, but to my specified brightness level. Sort of a pain in the butt when you turn your lights on during the day, but generally works well.
Downloaded the infotainment manual from another thread on here - quick skimming and this jumped out at me:
Display
Mode: Press Mode to change the screen background. This setting controls map colors. The Auto setting adjusts the screen background automatically depending on the exterior lighting conditions. The Day setting brightens the map background. The Night setting darkens the map background.
Its in the settings section on page 56 and 57. I don't know if this will take care of the problem or not but those of you with cars already should try it and find out.

Nope. This only changes map colors and background. Nothing will reset the dim screens. I'm just hoping GM will come up with some sort of software setting to help us.

This is good to hear. Glad someone is keeping an eye on reviews and complaints.

Don't know if this helps but on Navigation you can go to Menu..Map View...Day/Night Mode and change from Auto to Day Mode.
That does not help! I guess I will have to take in in so the dealership can talk to Technical Support. I explained the problem to them, but they won't do anything unless they have the car in their possession. I was hoping they could get a "fix" for this before I brought the car back for service. Now, it looks like it will involve TWO trips to resolve this small irritation.
