Question, for those of you that have seen Brownstone interior in the flesh, how did it look? The pictures I've seen vary widely from looking nice and rich, to looking like poop brown. This is especially the case on the suede inserts.
Anyways, I'm trying to get an idea of what to expect when a premiere edition hits, and I guess, whether or not to get my hopes up. Some of the photos from the debut just look awful, others look awesome.

I'd be curious too. One time I was looking at a dark blue Caddy STS and my then gf commented that the interior looked like "baby shiite". No kids so no clue on what baby shiite looks like. Hopefully in the C7 it's not that same color but it kinda looks like it in the pics.
Daffy,
the problem with describing something as being baby sh!? color is it comes in so MANY colors. I've thought the kalahari looks more like BS, but some say it is more like calf sh!?. Now I've never seen a picture of brownstone that looks like BS, but I am interested in hearing the input of those who have seen this in person because I am considering this color when I eventually order my car.
I have brownstone in my NRB and LOVE it. Rich and classy. EVERYONE who has seen it has said it is not what they expected and that it is stunning. Pictures do it no justice.
I saw it on a NRB car at the bash last April. I did not care for the combo but like both separately.
Kalahari reminds me of a new baseball glove when I was a kid. You know the one right off the shelf and not broken in.
Brownstone reminds me of a baseball glove also, but after I oiled with 3-in-1 oil and broke it in. Has that dark rich soft leather look. Prefer it without the suede insert.
I've seen the Brownstone interior in person. I'd never order it because I just don't care for earth tones as car colors but that's just a matter of personal taste. The truth is, GM did a great job with the Brownstone interior and I can't imagine that someone who likes brown interiors wouldn't like this one. It's very rich looking and will go well with quite a few of the C7 colors including NRB.

I've seen the Brownstone in person and it a very rich looking interior, it brings a more upscale look to the interior and is very similar to some dark browns I've seen in some very expensive cars from other manufacturers.

..my experience. You really have to see in person. It is NOT a combination you would see in a track car. Totally opposite from say a white car with red interior. Both are drop dead beautiful but giving off a totally different vibe,
I am very much interested in the Brownstone and the Laguna Blue. All summer long whenever I would put my Brown/Neutral shoes on and Blue shorts they did not look like they went together. I also have to admit I am not a lover of Brown on just about anything. I am willing to wait til the Premier cars start arriving to actually see this color combination with my own eyes.

I think the lighter brown would be a better fit for LB. Even owning a Brownstone car I say that. The Brownstone does much better with darker car colors. All that is just my opinion.

Is the carpet brown or black in your car. I ordered brownstone and my dealer told me brown carpet only came in the Premiun,m addition.
I saw it yesterday in a Premier edition while picking up my own Z51 C7. I thought it looked good in there. It is a darker color though. The above description comparing a baseball glove is pretty close.
Is it just me but all the interior colors are mixed with black or ebony and I feel like its 2 tone not to my liking. But if the interior was all one color red, Kalahari now I could go for this if it was this color all over. Nice seeing you ufaj26 yesterday picking up your car really like Reggie's Corvette and tag. I would have stuck around longer and watch you drive off but wife wanted to go.

We agonized over choosing between brownstone and Kalahari. Saw brownstone at the bash, thought it was beautiful. We eventually chose Kalahari over brownstone because:
1. Kalahari is unique to corvette (you can find brownstone in other Chevy models)
2. Lighter cabin color for more open feel
3. No sueded center console
4. Black carpet.
It was super difficult because:
1. Contrast stitching on brownstone is to die for!
2. Fully dipped interior
3. Suede contrasting glovebox
4. It's the interior color Ryan and Sabrina Vaughan chose to drive around during the captured test fleet period. And we were getting AW as well!
If my car wasn't already at 3400 i think I may just have resold myself on brownstone! Can't go wrong.
I sat in the LRG is Wisonsin at the ALMS and it had 3LT Brownstone and I was absolutely shocked....It felt so UP scale, so classy, so expensive and felt as though I was sitting in a Gucci handbag that cost $10,000,,,,,All my rides have always been Black leather interior....I am going all out Brownstone this time.....It makes the car

I ordered Brownstone sight unseen....I was hoping this would be the case, that is exactly the look and feel I was after!!
