Picked up our Laguna Blue Z51 in Dallas today

Flew up to Dallas (from San Antonio) to pick up our new baby. Randy Butler, our sales guy from Clay Cooley Chevrolet, picked us up at the airport.
We showed up at Clay Cooley to find that they have a nice assortment of C6s (still beautiful machines). Then I saw her. Glistening there in the sun like a Bond girl coming out of the ocean in a skimpy bikini. Truly a stunning shade of blue. If you haven't seen Laguna blue in person, let me be the 1st to tell you that most pictures do not do it justice.
We took care of the financing paperwork and then Randy very patiently showed me how everything worked. Yes, there's a lot to absorb.
Then we drove in DFW rush hour traffic from the dealership to our hotel. It took 30 minutes to drive 6 miles. So I really cannot give a full report about how it drives/handles/responds yet. Of course you have all read reviews about how the C7 drives from far better writers and far better drivers than I am. I can tell you that I love NPP exhaust and the Rev Matching.
We did get quite a few gawkers in traffic and the valet guys at the ******* resort were thrilled when we pulled up. Randy Butler, our sales guy, said that we had better get used to the gawking and picture taking. The C7 It is, after all, a real looker.
Also; a fellow forum member, who goes by the moniker of Wacky Bob, who lives quite close to us, picked up his new baby this evening. Kinda cool.
To be honest, I am still a bit overwhelmed. I will amend this review after my drive back to San Antonio, on Sunday.
In the mean time; if you are looking for a great sales guy in DFW, Randy Butler is your guy. Give him a call.

Awsome color
The more I see of the Laguna Blue the more I like it. Congrats. Btw, how'd you happen to choose Clay Cooley ? I bought two of my corvettes from their predecessor Frank Parra Chevrolet.
