Default Does anyone else not care about the center cap alignment?

This is part of my OCD.

Does anyone else now care about the way the dealer placed their center caps in their wheels? It bothers the heck out of me when I see them all pointed in different directions.

If I remember correctly, doesn't some PDI instructions say to point the "V" of the flag towards the valve stem?

I personally will be installing mine myself and have the "V" pointed towards the Corvette script on the wheel.

Small attention to details that bother me. Techs obviously don't care

:Endrant:

Aligning my wheel center caps is next on my To-Do List . . . .

For the moment, I am tied up going door to door in my neighborhood and horizontally aligning all the screws on the neighbor's switch plates and outlet covers . . . . . .

Yes, I have all mine lined up at home, my shops and my parents house.

Thanks ... Now I won't be able to sleep until I'm able to check mine tomorrow when I get home!

I align mine. It looks sloppy otherwise.

Rumor has it that the 2015 models will have ACA - Auto Center cap Alignment. Essentially, small servos and sensors that automatically keep the V pointed toward the valve stem.

Weight-weenies will deplore the additional mass, but balance will be maintained in the universe.

You heard it here first.

I'd rather have them be "Floaters"

I align mine so that the flags are all right side up, but they must be slipping in the wheel because every time I stop I have to realign them.

It will be a system of lossless circuits, massless pulleys, and frictionless bearings, made of Unobtainium.

Don't care. In fact never considered the cap position.
