It appears from the forum that a lot of you are getting the windows tinted. What percentage?
How long does it take and what is the cost to do the front side, rear side and hatch window?

Mine is darkest allowed here in Florida, about 35% on the doors, and a little darker on the side windows and back. Took them about 2hrs (the spent 15 minutes drooling over the car ). Price was $180 with lifetime warranty on the tint.

How did the tint take around the raised area on rear hatch that has all the little c7 cross flags???

It actually looks really good. No signs of bubbles or issues. The guy tinting it was a little worried about that as well, but he really took his time and worked on it to get it perfectly smooth.
15% on side and rear windows, 50% on the front windshield to keep out the FL heat. ALL ILLEGAL. Took about 2.5 hours. Cost NOT including the windshield since most people do not do that was $160 with a lifetime warranty. I got a lower price because he does all of my cars.
OK - I'm looking at 3 different type of Tinting - 3M, Llumar and SunTek. Of the three it seems that Llumar is the best but I was wanting to get reviews from the forum.

Thanks
I had Llumar on my 04 CE and I now have it on my 08 vert.
As far as I am concerned, it is the best and well worth the extra cost.
It doesn't scratch, I had zero scratches on either car.
More important, it lets light in but keeps heat and UV out. Makes for a much better driving experience at night. If you want limo look go with a regular tint but if you want the tint that performs the best, go with Llumar.

Thanks - after doing more research I've decided on the Llumar for the windows and will be getting Clear Bra using XPEL - which is good against bugs and rock chips.

Llumar is good... Made by CP Films... One of the big guys, film is what they do. 3M doesn't even make their own film.

I just posted this in another thread...
Best thing to do is have them make a separate strip for that section. This way when it does bubble you can remove just that piece and replace it. And furthermore, it won't bubble and spread to the rest of the rear glass.
There are tint guys that can get no bubbles to start off with but they almost always bubble over time in that section through changes in temperature and age.
Looking on getting the 3M Crystalline tint at 40%; also thinking about getting the invisible bra done. Anyone have info on that?
Thanks
My tinter who carries the Crystalline advised against it because of its stiffness and the curvature of Corvette windows. He didn't feel the extra cost offset any benefits in UV heat and sun blocking over their other products. Just an FYI from one pro who does 99% of the sport cars/exotics here in town. Good luck.
