We've been working on this for a while and finally got time to finish it up today. We designed a Hurst style shifter with short throw and also have different options for the new shifter as well!
In my opinion it shifts amazingly now. I've not stalled it since I installed it and seems to shift a heck of alot smoother.
I went with the white handle and you don't have to have the Hurst on it. It's still a short throw shifter that works very well. It's actually functional and for those that have one can drive mine to compare the difference in the 2.
Shifters can be custom designed for whatever you'd like, including carbon fiber.
The more custom the longer it will take to make and depending on material or design it could cost a bit more.

Of course, still need to see how the stock one feels.
Hey Dave Ferrari, tell me then why does the word Stingray belong on the new Corvette? It hasn't been called that since.......................the early 70's!
Andrew great job! The ball looks better than the handle but lots of us who grew up in the 60's and 70's can really appreciate your work! Well done...BD

A name is different than putting an outdated tacky accessory and raping a beautiful & modern interior. Memories are great but some are best left as memories.
I know you're a supporting vendor but this does not belong on the Corvette. It ruins and cheapens the beauty of the interior!!
Wrong accessory on the wrong car used in the wrong century (not the 70's anymore). But I'm sure a small minority would like this unfortunately.
I loved those back in the 70's. Every car I owned had a Hurst shifter. I already thought the C7 had a short throw shifter, am I missing something here?
