does anyone think the tire wear will be as bad on the Z51 as in the past ? even with the tire change from Goodyear to mitch. i know my g/s even with M.R. was as bad as the older Z51 .

Why would it matter what people's opinions are on this?

It doesn't matter what we think the longevity of the PSS will be... we don't know yet so it is just guess work. My guess is it will be worse than the regular PSS on the non-Z51 car.

Did I read on here at some point that the Z51 tire would have a bit softer compound for better grip/traction? If so, it will not last as long.

On my C6, Z51, at 13,000 miles I noticed that the inner sides of my front tires were worn to the steel threads. I obtained, from Pfadt Race Engineering, the recommended Corvette alignment settings for pure street use. After a wheel alignment using these settings, I've driven about 10,000 more miles, on Michelin All Seasons, with no visible wear showing yet.
I don't know if recommended street alignment settings are available for the C-7 yet, but I expect that if not, they will be in the near future.

It looks like C7 has a bit more aggressive alignment (more camber) so I wouldn't expect the wear rate to be great.
