Default Competitors evaluating C7s

We all know that the car manufacturers acquire each others' creations to fully test, evaluate, and where applicable, reverse engineer them. Do you think Corvette's competitors have already acquired C7s for this purpose?

All car manufactures do this. Of course.

GM how even has a 3D scanner to scan full cars in, impressive.

No because the corvette just caught up to all of them. It isn't ahead of them.

You honestly do not think they already have, or shortly will have, their own C7(s) to test?

Maybe so, but perhaps now they should try to figure out how to offer their product starting in the low $50k range.

Cars cost money, and doing complete evaluations and reverse engineering takes a lot of time from important people.

Sure, they do it sometimes. And certainly they read the magazines. But GM said they only bought one other car during the C7 development, I believe it was a Cayman S but not sure.
