My car is fully broken in and now I'm playing with the settings. I tried to completely disable the traction control and stability management and the car still does not let go at all. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I put the car in track and its indicating TR and then held down the tc and it shows its off but the car is still sticking like complete glue which is great 99 percent of the time but for that 1 percent when you want to act like a hooligan it sucks. Am I missing something?

Did you try gettinig in the car and holding the TC switch down until everything is off? Unless it's different than the pre-production models that I drove at Spring Mountain, you can most certainly turn everything off that way.
I followed the OM instructions but I think I'm doing something wrong because I could easily break my 911s lose with 80 hp less. I turned the driving mode to track and held the tc till it said off. I'm wondering if there is another step I'm missing
press the TC button once then twice hold it for 3 to 5 seconds. The center screen will give you four options eco, sport 1, sport 2, race. Just highlight race don't push nothing. This will mean all off and you should show two yellow lights off. I cut several nice donuts yesterday.

I'm having the same problem. I tried your suggestion, didn't work. I have followed to a T the directions in the owner's manual, worked with Customer Service, and taken it back to my salesman in an effort to find a solution with no luck. Friday it goes to the shop to see if they can figure out how I can get the options in the track mode. My guess is they won't figure it out. I suspect some sort of software issue, stayed tuned!!!

Can you share what you saw when you did this? I will try again tonight but last time i tried the long press what I saw was the two TC Off and Traction lights came on but no PTM menu.
This is the way the manual describes the non MSRC competitive driving mode indicator.
I am wondering if there is away to make sure the MSRC module is working properly or if it is not communicating with the main car ECU.
