Default Ordered mine today!

Put my deposit down in April and got the call yesterday to come in and place my order. The dealer, Suburban Chevrolet in Sandy Oregon, was totally above board, and as promised, wrote up the order at MSRP. This will be my first corvette and I have been lurking on the forum since April to learn what seasoned corvette owners think about what is important and what is not when ordering their vehicle. I have learned so much and I want to thank so many of you for helping me be prepared for this day.

I'm not going to be tracking this car, so I didn't feel I needed the Z51, but I like the look of the spoiler. Besides, if I ordered the Z51 I would have also ordered the magnetic suspension and I didn't feel I could justify the extra 4K.

My order:

Torch Red
2LT
Jet Black interior
AT
Red calipers
CF trim interior
Nav system
Museum Delivery
Z51 Spoiler which will be installed by dealer after returning from KY.

Still debating the NPP and nicer wheels, and might change to the 7-soeed. (Glad I still have a little more time to think)

Cool!

I do have a recommendation in regards to the Z51-type spoiler (RPO 5ZU in body color)... simply add it to your build order as a $530 option so that it will be accurately installed during production & assembly in BG because the dealer-installed spoiler may be more risky since the spoiler will need nine holes drilled into your trunk lid as part of the installation process plus the rear bumper will also need to be removed during this procedure as stated in the instructions.

Not worth it IMO so be safe and if it was my order I'd just add it to the existing order sheet.

That's what I wanted to do, but it wasn't an option with Museum delivery. Once I chose MD, none of the dealer installed options could be selected.

Oh bummer, that's right! 5ZU or 5ZV isn't available with RBC.
Well at least the dealer will cover it under warranty...
