Almost everybody ends up buying tires for their cars at some point. They are not cheap and there are usually a lot of choices which can lead to confusion.
I think it might be helpful if we had a tire section where people can report their experiences with new tire purchases. I am considering purchasing a set of tires, but I don't know anybody who has tried them on a Corvette, so it would be nice to have a little confirmation one way or the other.
Given that a lot of the accolades for the C7's handling probably should go to the Michelins but tire technology is changing faster than Corvette technology, isn't it time to give tires their due?
