Default Flamesuit on.

This is a positive post BTW.

Chevy has built a better Viper. After some twisties I can only sum the Stingray up this way, its the love child of the ZR1 and the Viper ACR. Enveloping supportive seats, flat tracking in track mode, confidence inspiring traction control, corner exits strong. Now give me ceramic brakes and 600+ hp. Any issues I ever had in the ZR1 on track with being tossed around are gone in the Stingray.

For perspective, what is your experience history please?

Oh man, you are going to open a can of worms now!

I am now really looking forward to how the Z07 will preform. Congrats on the C7

YOUR opinion means A LOT to me based upon that. So the C7, as a whole, sets the bar at a new level? Technology actually causes that to happen from time to time IMHO.

it could be said that Dodge produced a less tame corvette when they built the first viper and ever since it has MADE GM focus more than ever before, so you're right... we have Dodge to thank for pushing this iconic Sports car into Supercar Territory lol

A kid (approximately 10-12 years old) saw my new Stingray tonight and yelled to his friend, "Hey! Come look at this Corvette Viper!" I laughed and told him it was a Corvette Stingray!

I tracked my 2007 Z06 on/off from 2008-2012. No mods. I do not know what your Z has done to it but stock to stock the answer is YES.

NO... I know it will. It will out-smooth, out-comfort, out-corner, out-mileage, out-looks (at least according to the hundreds of people who have approached me), etc. I'm happy here trading up from the '08Z, which is a great automobile.

So a C7 beat the Z06-Z07's laptime at VIR and we haven't heard about it? I wonder who the drivers were.

hmmm. This is hard for me to believe...If true, I suspect a discrepancy between the ability of both drivers.

Faster than a 2006 ZO6....Maybe, but to say it is faster than a ZO6/ZO7... I would have to see it with my own eyes with the same driver in each car.
