Default where's GMer?

Maybe I missed something here but I notice GMer hasn't updated the list since 10-9. Is he on vacation or something? Anybody know?

I read somewhere in the update thread that he might possibly be in the process of moving/relocating.

Im sure he will be back and kindly update us asap. At least that what I am hoping. I really appreciate the time he has taken thus far to update us.

I think it just got to be to to much. Not bad a first but after the cars started being built he had so many requests it was impossible to keep up. Plus some people were really demanding and rude, treating him as if it was his job. My question was the last one he answered. I wondered how he decided which column an order would go in.

He did a great service for so many. Many Thanks

I don't think he just up and abandoned it...He posted 9-8 that he was rearranging the list according to event codes. I doubt he would up and quit without saying something. But I can certainly understand why he would quit....just think he would tell us if that were the case.

Still in the pen as far as I know. Customer service told me Friday that it went back to code 4D00 hold but the dealer told me today it still shows 4B00 bayed. I never could get the on star family link to work and was told by on star that I would definitely need to be in the car to get it activated.....It's all so frustrating......I'm beginning to wonder if the car even exists!

I am with you, just chatted with customer service they were no help will not even give me my current code, but did say I am still in Nashville, talked to my dealer Friday, there # 2 car came in, 1500 vins passed mine, they have no info, they even called dist manager who was no help, they are frustrated also, at least I got to see a real car and talk to the new owners who live about ten miles from me.

Hate to say, I am going to the auto show Wednesday and may buy something else.

Yep, many people are missing his updates. 3000 views to his thread in the last couple days alone.

The service was much much appreciated and I hope he comes back and updates it.

Hoping all is okay with him.

I think he just quit doing it since it was becoming time consuming. Why would he announce this and be ridiculed by some of the characters on this forum ?

or GM asked him to pull the plug...But I'll bet he comes back...knowing him from his writings, I doubt he would just go dark without an explanation...

If gamer does come back I would advise everyone to treat him with respect. He is doing this because of his love of the corvette. He is helping you in his free time plus doing this for free. Nada. Nothing
So don't pester him if he does not respond in five minutes. He is a true asset to all of us.

I am at 3400 on his list and check it 5 times a day. I hope he comes back, but even if he doesn't I have really enjoyed checking the list daily (even when I wasn't on it).

That won't happen..nice thought, but not reality...the public (and this site) is full of people who think they are entitled to get others to be immediately at their beck and call.....no matter how many times we tell them they are selfish and idiots, they think we're talking to the "other guy"

such is life in the first world...

I went 3400 on his list on about 10 days ago, I have been checking with customer service to see if a vin had shown up but as of yesterday no vin had shown up. My dealer emailed me an hour ago and my car is at 3800 and vin 4048. Talk to your dealer folks; but don't be a pest!

Life is good!

gm'er helped me get the color changed at the last minute even though my dealer said it wasn't possible. I don't know if my dealer was being lazy or just didn't know but the point is gm'er was the guy that helped me get it changed (and it wasn't a problem for the dealer)

Point is, he's an asset to this forum!

Thanks for everything gm'er
