Anyone have any comment on c7 tire noise--not the sexiest topic but kind of important, nonetheless. Some sounds coming out of vette are nice--road noise is not one of them.

I own a c5 right now and sold my c6 3 months ago and the c7 tire noise is by far the quietest of all three. I used to have Michelins on my c5 and went back to goodyears and the Michelins were quieter than the goodyears so the c7 having Michelins probably automatically means less tire noise.

Having had several C5 and C6 corvettes, both coupe, convert, and Z06's my 2014 Z-51 sounds about as quiet as my 2005 Coupe and much quieter than any of my Z06's (01; 02; 04; 06; 07; 08....6 Z06's).....just saying.
Note to GM readers: not all Corvette drivers object to road noise and will gladly accept noise in exchange for increased performance. This sounds like a lot of sound-deadening to me and an opportunity to reduce mass in future Hi-Po models.
Owned previously C5 and C6. Here in Texas many of the roads are being resurfaced with reprocessed road surface which is much more noisy than original. On these resurfaced roads my wife and I had great difficulty carrying on a conversation in the C5 and C6. It is still noisyer than I would like in the C7 but we at least can carry on a conversation or listen to the radio.
