This car provides a feeling of confidence and invincibility at times... This doesn't surprise me, and I'm pretty sure we're going to see lots of these for the next year or two, unfortunately.
I hope they're OK. If they are, I'd like them to know that they're going to hike up our insurance rates. LOL

Hope everyone was ok but man that's hard to look at being such a beautiful car!

Well, I'll put on my flame retardant suit and differ with an opinion.
(assuming this was a single-car accident where the fault can be attributed to the driver,) I don't really care if the driver is OK or not. I've seen people doing stupid life-endangering things on the public streets--like two motorcyclists going down the interstate about 75 MPH on their back wheels--and when I see crap like that, I usually say to my wife, "I hope they have a single-car crash that leaves them unable to drive" (and therefore removes the opportunity for their next accident to involve an innocent victim). Harsh? Yeah. But when a friend of yours is killed due to the stupidity of another, you might find yourself leaning my way in opinion.
Assuming some idiot crashed into the car from behind (or some similar no-fault accident), then most definitely hoping the driver is/was OK and extending sympathies for the damage to their new car. Even the first ding hurts...that would be insurmountable.

I get tired of people making totally bone-head decisions and then people feeling bad for them after.......needs to be more noting when people were stupid so others can learn from the mistakes of others.

They want to appeal to the younger crowd. Oh yeah come from a Corolla to a vette
and good bet they try and drive it the same. So you got the young who think
nothing is going to happen, run it like heck. Than the old crowd who can see where
they are going with 450 horsepower. How can wrecks not happen. It also could
have boiled down to they are so low to the ground and a truck just don't see the thing
and ran over it.

Learn your car in a safe manner and in a safe place. Don't be stupid!
People driving Corollas can be just as dumb and just as dead.
Be careful out there folks.

I wonder if the GM engineers show any interest in investigating these crashes? Such a waste (but is was an accident) would serve a higher purpose if information gleaned could save somebodies life.

It kinda looks like this dodge ram I received a few years back from auction.... Trucker forgot to lower the tail section of the trailer and hit an over pass. Insta-vert ram....
